AUTHORITIES have arrested an official of the youth sector in an anti-drug operation Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, a top police official said Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Police Brigadier General Neil Alinsangan, newly installed Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested youth official as Mark Anthony Kintanar, 24, the Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson of Saluyong, Manukan.
Alinsangan said that Kintanar was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, in Linay village, Manukan.
He said confiscated from the possession of Kintanar were some three grams of suspected shabu packed in six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets worth P20,400 and an improvised tooter.
He said the arrested youth official was detained at the Manukan Municipal Police Station while formal charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
