A 35-YEAR-OLD Indian national lost his collection money after he was allegedly robbed by two unidentified men in Barangay San Isidro, San Fernando town in southern Cebu Thursday afternoon, August 18, 2022.

Patrolman Mario Paul Pino, investigator-on-duty of the San Fernando Police Station, identified the victim as Amandeep Singh, a resident of Barangay Bolinawan, Carcar City.

Master Sgt. Micho Glenn Alicaba, the station’s desk officer, told SunStar Cebu that the incident happened around 2 p.m. Thursday, August 18.

Singh, a lending business owner for three years, was collecting money from Carcar up to San Fernando.

He told police that when he stopped to pee at the side of the road in Barangay San Isidro, two men on board a motorcycle blocked his way and declared a hold-up.

The robbers carted away his P80,000 in cash.

Alicaba said it is hard for them to identify the robbers as the victim could not give a definite description of the perpetrators.

Police are still conducting an investigation on the incident.
