SECURITY guards and workers of stores and other establishments in Talisay City will undergo a seminar to be conducted by the city police, said an official Friday, August 19, 2022.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Randy Caballes, chief of the Talisay City Police Station, told SunStar Cebu that the workers will be taught on how to identify persons who may have ill motives while inside their establishments.

He said the seminar is important to also strengthen the coordination between the Philippine National Police and the community to prevent possible crimes in the city.

Caballes added that if the residents themselves can spot people who have ill motives, they could help prevent crimes from happening.

He expressed his gratitude to the residents of Talisay who have been helping the police maintain peace and order in the city. (BBT/LMY)
