THE new composition of the Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC) board convened for the first time at the House of Lechon Restaurant to discuss plans for the city’s sports program.
CCSC led by its chairman John Pages formally welcomed the new members of the board, renowned sports physician Dr. Rhoel Dejaño and Councilor Noel Wenceslao.
Dejaño spoke about the plans for health and fitness initiatives that he will launch. Wenceslao, the chairman of the committee of finance in the Cebu City Council, informed the board of the deadline for submission of the 2023 budget.
The CCSC decided to assign specific sports per commissioner.
Sports commission vice chairman and City Councilor Dondon Hontiveros attended the board meeting together with chairman emeritus Edward Hayco, Rolly Diorico, Jessica Honoridez, Francis Ramirez, Chao Sy, executive director Amilo Lopez and board secretary Gayle Grace Dico.
