Allea Real Estate inaugurates new building, opens new office

Sometimes, a calamity is a blessing in disguise for others.

The earthquake in October 2019 that struck North Cotabato affecting Davao City damaged several properties in the city. And this did not exempt the previous office of Allea Real Estate, which took office at Palmetto Place in Maa.

This made the Walkers, Lea and John, decide to build their own establishment to house their business office.

They did not look far as Lea said their clients have been accustomed to locating them in Maa. When they found the perfect site for their building, they did not dilly-dally the construction.

However, the calamity was then followed by the Covid-19 pandemic that broke out in Davao City in the early months of 2020. During its height, people were restricted from unnecessarily going out and gathering. This caused a delay in the construction of their building.

But these negative events did not hinder them to set their eyes on their goals and succeeding.

Just last Friday, August 12, Allea Real Estate’s new office officially opened.

Blessed by Fr. Bong Gonzaga, who is part of Allea Real Estate's every milestone, the event was attended mainly by the Walkers' family and friends as well as the firm's staff.

Additionally, several VIPs also witnessed this milestone, which includes: Mr. Tony and daughter Maui Monsanto; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Simpson; Atty. Fely Morata and Ms. Joy Cantero; BPI's Mr. Clark Tadle, Mr. Edwin Salinas, Trustee - Davao Board of Realtors Foundation Inc. (DBRFI); Ms Vickie Santiago of Vickie Santiago Realty; WT FM's DJ Ryan and DJ Cheng; Ms. Luzette Tan; Ms. Shella Ladion, Division Vice President, Sta. Lucia Marketing-Davao Region; Mr. Rommel T. Geyrozaga of BPI; President of DBRFI Ana Riza Mata Agulo, DBRFI's Past President Eileen Ong-Sugano and Mr. Alex Bataller of DBRFI; Mr. Romy Ablas of Ablas Realty; Atty. Wilmer Q. Donasco, and his assistants, Val and Irene; Mr. Bebot Cainong, Senior Vice President of Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards (PAREB); Mr. Gabriel Lim; and staff of Maa Brgy. Captain Pacito D. Cañete, Jr - Ma. Amanda L. Lomibao, barangay secretary and Jason Igana.

Lea said among the advantages of having their own building and office is that they don’t have to worry about their monthly or annual rent.

“Having your own office is like having your own house,” she said, adding that although they also owned the unit of their old office at the Palmetto Place, owning a building itself is a different story.

Leah who is also the Davao Board of Realtors Foundation, Inc. Vice President for External Affairs said this is the positive thing that came out of the calamity.

“Naa na mi sariling office na, hopefully will stand the test of time. Also there is ample space for growth,” she said.

With the new building, Allea Real Estate’s office now houses its own training room, which was absent in the old office because of the limited space.

The training room will be for their real estate agents whether regular or tapped.

Allea Real Estate functions as both a real estate seller and brokerage, where it has its own properties that it is selling, and as a broker for property owners who want to sell their properties. Its new office is located at Block 01, Lot 07, Sto. Niño Village, Maa, Davao City. For inquiries, please call (082) 293-9685 (landline) or at 0919-0066105 (mobile number).
