The DA hosted a Corn and Cassava Processing Seminar-Demonstration led by the Corn Banner Program for the women beneficiaries over the weekend. The training is part of the capacity-building program of the DA to equip women with the skill of processing agri-related products.

The women beneficiaries were taught how to properly process corn and cassava turon, cassava cake, polvoron, corn and cassava okoy and cassava puffs and egg balls. The lectures included a good entrepreneurial mindset and good manufacturing practices for food safety.
