THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has risen, with 32 additional cases reported over the weekend.
The city now has a total of 26,734 Covid-19 cases.
According to data from the City Health Office, of the 32 local cases, 16 were local index cases, nine were local cases with link, six were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and one Apor with link.
The active cases in Cagayan de Oro is now at 165, of which 77 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 84 were outpatients, and one was an ROF/LSI.
Over the weekend, the city recorded 35 recoveries, bringing the tota number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 25,623.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 949.
