AUTHORITIES have arrested one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte in a law enforcement operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
The Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office identified the arrested suspect as Roque Osorio Basaya, 44, a laborer.
The police said that Basaya was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, on Calle Basa, Tugbungan village, Zamboanga City where the suspect temporarily resided.
The police said Basaya has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of four-count rape with no recommended bail issued by the court of Dipolog City date November 25, 2007.
The police said the arrested suspect is second on Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte's most wanted list. (SunStar Zamboanga)
