LIEUTENANT General Alfredo Rosario Jr., commander of the Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom), has assured the City Government of Lamitan that the military is always ready to assist Lamitan city in all of its projects and programs.
Rosario made the assurance during his visit and meeting with Lamitan City Mayor Roderick Furigay on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at City Hall.
Rosario said that contributory to the military’s efforts is the good governance exhibited by the local chief executives.
“Let us continue to work together to achieve a just and lasting peace here in Lamitan,” Rosario said.
Rosario and Furigay discussed the importance of continued coordination between the city government and the military to sustain peace and order in Lamitan City.
Furigay commended the efforts of the military to eliminate the menaces of society and keep the communities safe and secure.
Furigay also expressed his full support for all the endeavors of Westmincom.
Rosario was accompanied by his staff and top military officials in the province of Basilan during his visit to Furigay. (SunStar Zamboanga)
