Limlingan: Marketing online

As of this writing, the 9-9 sale on the two biggest online marketing platform is on-going. Its another monthly bargain sale wherein merchandize prices are lowered than usual and marketing companies also offered freebies to their target market.

Even prior to the pandemic, online marketing had become the fad to people of all ages especially to netizens who are fond of buying things on-line. Almost all items on physical stores can also be "ordered", bought and delivered.

The sale on-line has been made more popular during the onset of the pandemic where lockdowns were implemented and physical stores closed. Almost all supermarkets, groceries, hardwares, stores and other places of merchandizes were closed to somehow avoid the physical gathering of people and eventually help stop the spread of the Covid-19.

The result was the mushrooming of on-line selling and trading in various internet pages and platforms that people subscribed to. They became popular and even in-demand due to lack of places to buy goods or services.

On-line selling became popular because of the popularity of the internet. Many people are hooked on the worldwide web for several hours everyday. Netizens browse on various applications that includes on-line market places.

Those who are fond of subscribing to on-line purchasing are actually given the convenience of buying on their mobile phones interface, without the hassle of going to physical stores. Going to these stores entails fares and other transportation costs.

Through these on-line sales, people need not queue on long lines to get inside stores and pay later at cashiers just like during store sales. People only need their computers or mobile phones to buy things.

However, engaging in on-line purchasing has its caveat too. Buying things using the internet is quite tempting. Some may buy things they do not really need. Others buy things just because they find such as cheap and very affordable.

These on-line stores are raking-in millions. They are very popular and many are tempted to buy, save for those who are buying things they really need. Its very accessible and these platforms were made user-friendly. The monthly sale is just one among the marketing strategies of these virtual stores. Caveat emptor.
