BY BEATING India 8-1 in the super round on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, the Philippine Blu Boys are going to the WBSC Men Softball World Cup on Nov. 26 to Dec. 4 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Team Philippines and Team Japan will take the two places allocated for Asia in the Men’s Softball World Cup.
The Philippines lost to Japan, 9-2, in their finals match-up for the 11th Men’s Softball Asia Cup in Kochi, Japan held on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Regardless, this year marks the ninth appearance for the Philippines since the tournament was founded in 1988. The country’s best finish was fourth place.
