OPERATIVES of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested a bet collector of illegal numbers game in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
Police Colonel John Francis Encinareal, CIDG-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested by collector as Greta Paderanga, 39.
Encinareal said Paderanga was caught in the act collecting bets for illegal numbers game around 7:50 p.m. Monday, September 12, in Purok 22, Polacion village, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
He said recovered from Paderanga’s possession were P50 marked money, illegal numbers game paraphernalia, and P293 cash in different denomination as bet money.
Encinareal said that Paderanga was taken to Buug Municipal Police Station for documentation and later brought to the CIDG-Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Field Office for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
