Cervantes: Blessed Mother: “I am near you every day, will preserve you from the scourges”

As the entire world rushes to rise from the Covid 19 pandemic, many have donned their pre-pandemic predilections. Politicians are again feeling the pomp of power, the arrogant wealthy are once more circling in their coteries of the also rich and famous, while the poor are living lives no less morally profligate, asserting assorted egos in “marites” engagements and drinking sprees between their dogged search for daily survival.

In this regard, it helps to pick up from what Our Lord Jesus Christ told His apostles, as put on record by mystic Maria Valtorta (1897-1961) as she witnessed, by God’s grace, episodes in the life of Our Lord, as if she had time-travelled. Her writings were endorsed by St. Padre Pio.

Valtorta quoted our Lord Jesus Christ as follows:

“Those who make themselves ‘small’ are great in My Kingdom. Those who wish to be ‘great’ in the eyes of the world are not suitable to reign in My Kingdom. They are straw for the beds of the demons. Because the greatness of the world is the antithesis of the Law of God.

“The world calls ‘great’ those who, by means which almost always are illicit, know how to get the best positions and to do so, they use their neighbour as a stool on which they then climb, crushing him.

“The world calls ‘great’ those who know how to kill in order to reign, and they kill materially or morally, and they usurp positions and countries and fatten themselves, bleeding both individuals and communities.

“The world often calls ‘great’ criminals. No. ‘Greatness’ is not to be found in criminality. It is in goodness, in honesty, in love, in justice. You can see which poisonous fruit your "great ones" offer you, fruit which they have picked in the wicked devilish garden inside them!” (End of quote.)

On another hot issue, it is with good reason to ask: Do the recent messages from Heaven have something to do with Pope Francis’ Synod on Synodality which ends next year?

Already in Germany, the synod seems to have boosted proponents of practices formerly anathema to Church teachings.

Many of the messages being relayed to us by Catholic mystics appeal to the faithful to hold on to their old Catechism and keep faith, implying strongly that that the Church is now facing most serious departures from its traditional ways.

Such was the tenor of the message of Our Blessed Mother to Gisella Cardia on September 12, 2022. The message:

“My daughter, thank you for having welcomed me in prayer. Now the time of battle has come: you [plural] have given birth to a humanity without God, you have allowed an idol to enter in place of God in the Church and have worshipped it in His place.

“My children, be united in the true doctrine of the faith without losing heart; open your hearts to the Holy Spirit, be constant and be warriors. For you, this will be a cause of marginalization and persecution, but do not be afraid: my Son will intervene. I am near you every day and will preserve you from the scourges. Now I leave you with my motherly blessing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.” (End of quote.)

Similar concerns were also in the Blessed Mother’s message to Pedro Regis on Sept. 14, 2022, as follows:

“Dear children, I am your Mother and I love you. I ask you to be faithful to My Son Jesus, for only thus can you attain salvation. Flee from sin and turn to the One who is your Only Way, Truth and Life. My Jesus needs you. Listen to Him. Be meek and humble of heart and you will be able to understand the Designs of God for your lives.

“You are walking towards a future in which many will walk as the blind leading the blind. Many fervent in faith will be contaminated and will walk in the contrary direction of the truth. Do not forget : In everything, God in first place. This is the message that I transmit to you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to reunite you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Stay in peace.” (End of quote.)

The appeal to stay faithful to the Magisterium of the Church was explicit in Our Blessed Mother’s message also to Pedro on Sept. 10, 2022:

“Dear children, My Lord expects much of you. Do not stay stationary. Behold the opportune time for your return. What you have to do, do not leave for tomorrow.

“God is in a hurry. I ask you to seek in the first place the things of Heaven. You are in the world but you are not of the world. You are walking towards a painful future and only those who love and defend the truth will achieve victory. The smoke of the devil will spread everywhere and great will be the contamination of many consecrated people.

“Whatever happens, remain faithful to the true Magisterium of the Church of My Jesus. Do not forget: In the hands, the Holy Rosary and Holy Scripture; in your heart, love for the truth. You will still have long years of hard trials, but do not be ye discouraged. I am your Mother and I will be at your side. Onward without fear! This is the message that I transmit to you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to reunite you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Stay in peace.” (End of quote.)

On Sept. 8, 2022, the Blessed Mother also said:

“Dear children, fear not. My Jesus is with you, though you do not see Him. I ask you to be faithful to My Appeals, for I desire to conduct you to holiness. You are living in the time worse than the time of the Flood. My Lord awaits you.

“ Do not depart from the path I have pointed out to you. The great ship will be turned away from the safe harbour, but those who remain faithful to the lessons of the past will be rescued and will not perish.

“ Courage! Be men and women of prayer. What you have to do, do not leave for tomorrow. This is the message that I transmit to you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to reunite you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Stay in peace.”
