POLICE authorities have arrested a wanted person who allegedly sexually molested two altar servers in this southern port city, an official said Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Police Colonel John Francis Encinareal, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Bryan Aizon, 32.
Encinareal said that Aizon was arrested in a warrant of arrest operation around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at Zone 2 in Boalan village, this city.
Encinareal said that Aizon has standing warrant of arrest for two counts violation of Republic Act 7610, known as the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act with P200,000 bail for each count.
Encinareal said that the accused has allegedly sexually abused two altar servers of the parish church in Tetuan village, this city.
He said that the cases were filed against the accused by the parents of the two altar servers. (SunStar Zamboanga)
