CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Ten villages from this capital city are set to compete in this year’s Giant Lantern Festival.

The competing barangays include Bulaon, Calulut, Del Pilar, San Nicolas, Pandaras, San Juan, Dolores, Sta. Lucia, Sto. Niño and Telabastagan.

The ten villages will present their respective giant lanterns with a size as big as 20-feet in height and installed with thousands of colorful bulbs.

The event will be a showdown of light, colors and rhythm to the tune of various Christmas and pop songs.

The winning barangay will bring home the coveted GLF trophy, cash prize and a year-long bragging rights.

The GLF 2022 is slated on December 17, 2022 at the Robinsons Starmills in this city.
