Viray: OUTDATED

The Computer has obliterated the typewriter. There are no more Underwood and any other brand in the market. There is no law office that makes use of the typewriter anymore.

The cell phone has replaced the Camera. We used to refer to Kodak as our choice of photos. Nobody uses the Camera anymore except the professional photographers.

The Supreme Court Annotated Books are not indispensable anymore. Click the Internet and your research work is complete. The several volumes in our law office are no longer that usable. They have seen better days.

Letter writing is now almost gone. Sweethearts no longer put their feelings on paper. The Post Office caters to delivery of cards and items, seldom do we see the postman delivering letters from friends and loved ones. We have become the text capital of the world.

The Fountain Pen is almost extinct . When we took the bar exams, we were required to use fountain pens. Now, Laptops are the one used in the bar exams.

Blackboards in classroom have become outdated. The use of chalk has become limited with the onset of video and other gadgets.

Even the coins ringing in the Casino are gone. When you hit the jackpot, you are given a receipt to be reimbursed by the attendant/cashier. Even the one armed bandit style of slot machine is no longer used. Press the button and your bets are in.

There are many things that have changed. Is the teacher still needed in the classroom? Is the nurse still needed in the hospital? Is the doctor still indispensable in clinics? Is the lawyer still needed in litigation? Is the architect still in demand despite the computers? The only thing not outdated in the human discretion.
