Those inclined to lump Catholic mystics’ dire prophecies as “conspiracy theories” would perhaps lend serious ear to the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN).
Warning world leaders during the opening of the UN General Assembly last week, UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutierres said nations are “gridlocked in colossal global dysfunction” and that “our world is in peril — and paralyzed.”
The Associated Press quoted him as citing “the war in Ukraine and multiplying conflicts around the world, the climate emergency, the dire financial situation of developing countries and setbacks in U.N. goals for 2030 including an end to extreme poverty and quality education for all children.”
Not that I want frightening prophecies to happen so as to prove Catholic mystics right, but that the Blessed Mother herself posits the prophecies on the response to Heaven’s call for conversion. I,too, have loved ones who would not be spared from events being warned in the conditional prophecies.
This column is merely a response to the call of the Blessed Mother for more conversions so she could ask her Son to ease the magnitude of prophesied chastisements which, mystics say, have become inevitable. And to quote the Blessed Mother herself, to enable all, or at least as many people as possible, to prepare for the events to come over “long years.”
The prophecies are chastisements for sins, but could still be eased if only enough conversion happens. But the conversion outlook seems dim, as the world picks up from the freeze of the Covid 19 pandemic on the same platform for which prophets have been warning against.
How to prepare for what’s coming? The Blessed Mother touched on this issue in her message to stigmatist Luz de Maria de Bonilla, a third degree Augustinian, in her message on Sept. 21, 2022. The message follows:
“Beloved children of My Immaculate Heart: Receive my blessing together with my wish that all may come to the knowledge of the truth.
“As children of God, you have the capacity to ask the Divine Spirit for the Gift of Wisdom, so that you may understand what helps you with God's Project and what is harmful for you regarding God's Plan for each one of you. The Divine Spirit prepares you so that you may decide to convert, maintaining the charity that leads you to love your neighbor.
“Keep very much in mind what My Divine Son said: ‘But when they hand you over, do not worry about how you will speak or what you will say. What you have to say will be communicated to you at that moment. For it is not you who will speak, but the Spirit of your Father who will speak in you.’
“My beloved children: The life of the christian must be Christocentric...I am your mother, but my Son is God, the Center of Life.
“The true Christian grounds his faith: he does not follow My Son because of tradition, but because he knows Him and loves Him in Spirit and Truth.
“The Christian quenches his thirst in the knowledge of Divine Love for humanity, in the knowledge of the Law of God, in the knowledge of the Sacraments and Works of Mercy; he loves to delve into Sacred Scripture and knows that God is Love and Justice at the same time.
“The true Christian makes his life a constant practice of all that is duty, charity, obedience, respect, humility, tolerance, and whatever he must do in order to resemble My Divine Son.
“ Beloved children of My Immaculate Heart: Remain on spiritual alert so that they would not confuse you; be cautious in speaking, in order not to sin. Each person knows themselves and knows what they must change, how they must work and act. Do so promptly! My Son knows everything and you must not delay.
“Pay attention, children, tension is increasing| Those who lead nations speak of nuclear energy as if they were speaking about protecting the gift of life. For some who are leaders or representatives of nations, talking about the use of nuclear energy is a matter of course.
“ How they will suffer who cause My Divine Son pain with this weapon from hell itself, which acts against the gift of life!
“Keep the necessary serenity and faith, without deserting, being unafraid, continue to know that my Son remains with His people, that St. Michael the Archangl defends you and that I protect you without ceasing.
“Pray, My children, pray:Pray, My children, pray: the earth will shake strongly, causing volcanoes to become active and making My children suffer.
“Pray, My children, pray: in the depths of the Earth, the latter has been fractured by the movement of tectonic faults, accelerating continuous earthquakes.
“Pray, My children, pray: the Earth is in danger, the sun will send out strong solar winds, affecting means of communication.
“Children, stop and see how water is lashing the land at this moment, the sun sends out its heat with greater force, fire spreads in various countries, the wind blows more strongly and the ground continues to sink in various places... These are signs of what is going to happen.
“As Mother of Humanity I must constantly warn My children about what can cause them pain...
“I keep watching you, protecting you and interceding for you before my Divine Son, so that He might lessen certain events of nature.
“Some of My children living on Earth will emigrate, especially to South America, in search of protection. In view of this, you must know that lands of blessing must be purified beforehand.
“Be children of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. My Divine Son hears prayers offered with contrite hearts and returns them as blessings for all humanity.
“Pray, offer up, prepare, be a blessing to your brothers and sisters, give the best of what you have in your hearts.
“Beloved children: The katechon suffers and believers weep and wait for what will precede this dire sign.
“ Without losing Faith, go forward, pray, make reparation, offer up and fulfil the Divine Will. Be fraternal.
“ I protect you: My mantle covers you so that you would not be seen. I love you.” (End of quote.)
Here, I am also sharing the commentary of Luz de Maria on the Blessed Mother’s message. Luz wrote:
“Brothers and sisters: Our Blessed Mother alerts us in one way or another so that we would understand that we are going towards Her Son if we are first and foremost observers of the Law of Love, for if we fulfil this Law, the rest will be added unto us.
“ How many events are approaching, and we are being warned so that we might grow in faith and so that miracles would happen before our eyes!
“ Brothers and sisters, in this Call our Blessed Mother alerts us regarding the Katechon, mentioned by St. Paul in Sacred Scripture in II Thessalonians 2:3-13. I invite you to meditate on this biblical quotation. Amen.” (End of quote.)
Meanwhile, the urgency of response to Heaven’s call for conversion was underscored by the Blessed Mother in her message to mystic Valeria Copponi on Sept. 21, 2022. The Blessed Virgin said:
“My children, I cannot abandon any of you; seek prayer and never give up invoking God’s grace. Do you not realize that without God’s help you will go nowhere? I am your Mother and I invoke God the Father, shedding tears for each one of you. Even the least of you — that is, the one who has forgotten that God is his Creator and that He wants to bring him back to Himself — cannot [be allowed to] end up in the blazing fire of hell.
“My dearly beloved little children, pray first of all for your weaker brothers and sisters, for you have no more time left to invoke God’s Name for those poor creatures of Mine with hearts of ice. I can still use your good deeds to pray to your Father to touch the hearts of my children who are disobedient towards His commandments. I love you and do not want to lose any of My children, but time is pressing and there are few of you left who obey God’s laws.
“Pray, My children, eternity is near for all of you and it is up to each of you to choose eternal joy or eternal suffering. You have little time: ask for forgiveness, I tell you — you can still repent of the evil you have done and choose God’s goodness. I bless you; seek to live in obedience to your Father and you will enjoy His eternal joy.”
