BAGAC, Bataan—Besides the charm of old Filipino houses and structures at Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar, there is always something new to discover at the country’s first heritage resort.

In addition to its Walking Heritage Tour and Kalesa Rides that both give a nostalgic feel to the post-colonial Philippines, guests at the resort can now explore the tranquil waters of the West Philippine Sea as the sun beautifully sets into the ocean.

The Las Casas Sunset Cruise is perfect for couples and friends who love sunsets. Board a boat and sail away into the ocean.

After enjoying the resort’s serene atmosphere, guests can now relieve themselves of worries and stress with a relaxing traditional Filipino massage at Las Casas’ Majayjay Wellness Center by Tai Chi. The spa offers a variety of body massages, face and body scrubs, nail treatments, and foot spas.

And if guests fancy a workout, they can step inside Las Casas’ fitness gym that houses state-of-the-art equipment by Technogym. Guests can even have the option to work out with fitness trainers.

Meanwhile, the Walking Heritage Tour allows discovery of the colorful stories of the past that each of the 63 houses in the resort hold. Guests can walk on the cobblestone streets and discover new and exciting places throughout the resort.

Another must-experience is the resort’s Balsa Ride. The ride allows guests to visit places in the resort that cannot be reached by land including the many murals carved by local craftsmen and artists across the river.

These and more are all the reasons you’ll keep coming back to Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan.

Founded in 2010 by Architect Jose Rizalino “Jerry” Acuzar, Las Casas Filipinas has become one of the most sought-after travel destinations by local and foreign tourists alike.

The houses at the resort were all acquired by Acuzar from different provinces of the Philippines. Called casa, the houses at the resort are of a mix of restored heritage homes and historically significant pieces inspired by storied houses that capture Philippine history.
