THE Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) earned P54.4 million from January to August this year, exceeding its collection for the same period in 2021.

According to a report from the Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO), the CSBT has reached 68 percent of its target revenue of P80.4 million for 2022.

The CSBT will need to collect P26 million in the remaining four months of the year to reach its target.

The 2022 target revenue is higher by P16.1 million compared to the facility’s revenues last year, which amounted to P64.3.

The CSBT, which is operated by the Provincial Government, derives its income from toll fees from transport operators and rentals from its tenants.

The Provincial Government has recognized the CSBT as a big contributor to its entire annual income.

The Province recorded a total income of P4.8 billion from January to August this year.

It eyes to reach its annual target revenue of P7.4 billion by the end of 2022.
