A TEACHER of Minglanilla Central School died in a road accident on Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2022, in Barangay Tunghaan, Minglanilla town, Cebu.
The incident occurred a day before the country celebrates National Teachers’ Day.
The victim, identified as Charisma Servedo, was brought to the hospital where she later died due to serious injuries.
Servedo was riding a motorcycle driven by her husband, Sherwin, when they were hit by another motorcycle.
Police Master Sergeant Joel Lacson of Minglanilla Police Station said Charisma's husband also sustained injuries.
It was learned that the husband made a U-turn when they were hit by the motorcycle that was following them.
The teacher was thrown off the motorcycle due to the impact and hit hard on the pavement.
Police are now looking for the unidentified motorcycle driver, who fled after the incident. (TPT)
