CAMP OLIVAS The Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) has condemed the slaying of a former vice-mayor of Dipaculao.
The former vice mayor, Narciso Amansec, was gunned down along the national highway in Barangay Dibutanan, Dipaculao, Aurora, Monday.
Amansec, together with his wife Merlinda, were on their way home on board an Izusu D-Max driven by Leonard Calusa when several armed men assaulted the group at said barangay.
"We are looking into all angles to establish possible motives," Pasiwen said.
"A Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) Amansec is already created and they are exerting all means to get into the bottom of this cases," he added.
PRO3 is now in the process of gathering pieces of evidence that will lead to the identification of the prepetrators, according to Pasiwen.
"I ordered the creation of SITG Amansec to assure the public, as well as the victims family of our total to ensure immediate resolution of the cases through proper and scrupulous probe while we give importance to all cases, this particular shooting incident that will be treated top priority," Pasiwen said.
