SP approves preventive health care ordinance

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) has approved the Alagang Nanay Preventive Health Care Ordinance of 2022 on Monday, October 3.

Vice Governor Lilia Pineda said the ordinance aims to institutionalize the Provincial Integration of Universal Health Care Law.

This law provides that a province-wide health system, through the Provincial Health Office, for the delivery of the promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative components of health care within the province.

The province-wide health system shall link at least one apex or end-referral hospital.

Dahil do’n, napadali ang buhay nila,” Pineda said.

The vice governor asked mayors to help the province with the data banking of all possible health beneficiaries in Pampanga.
