A 33-YEAR-OLD man, who is included in the government’s drug watch list, was arrested while P104,000 worth of illegal drugs was seized in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director, identified the arrested suspect as Alrauf Lim alias Budoh, who is listed as a high-value individual (HVI) drug suspect.
Lorenzo said Lim was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 10:26 p.m. Friday, October 14, on Marlboro Drive, Campo Islam village, Zamboanga City.
Lorenzo said seized from Lim were 15.29 grams of suspected shabu packed in 31 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets worth P104,000, boodle money topped with one genuine P1,000 bill marked money.
He said the suspect was placed under the custody of ZCPO’s Station 8 while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
