3ID hosts MSAB summit

THE 3rd Infantry Division (ID) hosted the Philippine Army’s Multi-Sector Advisory Board (MSAB) Summit 2022 participated by 30 members from all over the country at Park Inn by Radisson in Bacolod on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Lieutenant General Romeo Brawner Jr., commanding general of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and Brigadier General Charito Plaza, MSAB national chairperson, led the event.

It aims to strengthen the partnership between the Philippine Army and stakeholders to achieve the Army Transformation Roadmap by 2028.

MSAB is the committee that oversees the continuity, sustainability, and shared responsibility in pursuing the Philippine Army's ATR program as translated into the Performance Governance Scorecard, and the Performance Governance Scorecard of the Brigades, Battalions and Offices of the Division Headquarters.

As part of the activity, each MSAB Group presented its best practices to build a good image of the AFP to gain popular support from the people.

Part of their activity is the camp tour visit and briefing at 303rd Infantry Brigade Headquarters in Camp Major Gerona wherein they were given updates on the progress of the unit's Army Transformation Roadmap.

Also present at the event were 3ID commander Major General Benedict Arevalo, Brigadier Generals Inocencio Pasaporte and Leonardo Peña, Commander, commanders of the 303rd and 302nd Brigades, respectively along with Professor Winnie Monsod. (PR)
