PUSO Village, the sophisticated commercial development showcasing the best of Cebu food and retail, is expected to open in November this year.

Officials of Cebu2World Development Inc. (C2W) told SunStar Cebu on Oct. 21, 2022 that the project was now 90 percent complete and what remained to be done were just the architectural and finishing touches.

Located right beside the Compania Maritima Building facing the Mactan Channel, the Puso Village will house 366 stalls and two island pods that will offer food, RTW (ready-to-wear), gadgets and accessories, and specialty shops.

C2W said it had allocated P300 million for the project which includes the site and infrastructure development and utility provisions.

With the existing Carbon Night Market that attracts a lot of visitors every weekend, Puso Village will offer a new vibe to a different target market.

“Puso Village is positioned to be more upscale, targeting the upper socio-economic market and tourists with above-average income. Experience and vibe will totally be different from the public market and night market since the Carbon Night Market is where you’ll find the most affordable local favorites fit for everyone,” C2W said.

The establishment will also feature homegrown favorites and well-loved food brands that reflect the heart and soul of the Cebuanos.

“It is positioned to showcase and bring together the Best of Cebu in terms of food, lifestyle, shopping and entertainment in one village,” the firm added.

C2W has also established a partnership with renowned Cebuano fashion designers and Cebu’s local entertainment artists.

Aside from the commercial spaces, C2W will also be opening its mechanical parking structure located near the Puso Village.

The structure is puzzle-type mechanical parking with four levels and can accommodate a total of 156 vehicles.
