LAWMEN have arrested two street-level individuals (SLIs) who are in their watchlist and seized a high-powered firearm and dried marijuana leaves in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office director, identified the arrested SLIs drug suspects as Khalid Kulong Sahial, 21, and Alih Jaiyari Sahial, 52.
Lorenzo said the two were arrested in an anti-drug operation around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, in Baliwasan village, Zamboanga City.
He said seized from the suspects were an M-16 Armalite rifle with ammunition, a cellular phone, 125.30 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P15,036 and P200 marked money.
Lorenzo said the suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
