In the recent messages from the Blessed Mother, there were again references to “hard” and “difficult” times, implying there is no relief yet despite lifting of Covid 19 pandemic restrictions and every resurrection bid towards “normalcy” in the world. Those keeping close watch on credible prophecies know this, as they keep list of specific chastisements from Heaven up for fulfillment, unless enough conversion occurs.
Yet no such occurrence is being noted.
And so there is need to brace for pain that will come from the chastisements. But how?
No less that Our Lord Jesus Christ had words on this, as recorded by mystic Maria Valtorta (1897-1961) who, by Divine Will, witnessed a conversation between Our Lord and a farmer on the issue.
I have always pointed out that St. Padre Pio had endorsed Valtorta’s writings and so did St. Mother Teresa of Caulcutta whose main readings consisted of the Bible, her breviary and Valtorta’s Poem of Man-God.
Let me share the conversation between Our Lord and the farmer as follows:
Farmer: Is pain not always evil?
Our Lord Jesus: No, My friend. It is evil from a human point of view, but from a supernatural one it is good. It increases the merits of just people, who accept it without despairing or rebelling and they offer it, as they offer themselves with resignation, as a sacrifice to expiate their own imperfections and the faults of the world, and it is a redemption for those who are not good.
Farmer: It is so difficult to suffer!
Our Lord Jesus: I know that man finds it difficult. And knowing that he would find it so difficult, the Father had not given His children any sorrow. It came with sin. But how long does sorrow last on the earth? in the life of a man? A short time. It is always short, even if it lasts a whole lifetime. Now I say: is it not better to suffer for a short time rather than for ever? Is it not better to suffer here than in Purgatory? Consider that time there is multiplied a thousand times to one. Oh! I solemnly tell you: you ought not to curse pain, but bless it, and you should call it grace and mercy. (End of quote.)
Meanwhile, I am sharing more recent messages from the Blessed Mother who again cited “hard” and “difficult” times ahead.
To Gisella Cardia on November 3, 2022, she said:
“My children, thank you for being here and for having responded to my call in your hearts. My children, my tears flow for those who do not listen to my call. I weep because of blasphemies and for priests who are not faithful to God. I weep for those who, despite the signs of the times, are tied to the false lights of the world.
“ My children, I ask you to convert: times will be hard. Pray that your Father would be merciful. There will be famine in the world and food will be lacking. Children, provide for yourselves and for your brothers and sisters.
“The hearts of men are becoming harder and harder, and that is how Satan will lead them into the abyss.
“ Children, invoke me in moments of suffering and I will be with you. Call upon my Son Jesus and He will change suffering into peace and sadness into joy. Be firm in faith. Many do not know God and do not want to know Him, yet He is Father and He does not want to lose you. Children, follow the way of Holiness, read the Gospel and the Word, and there you will find everything you need. Love one another as God has loved you.
“Now I leave you with my maternal blessing, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.” (End of quote.)
And then Pedro Regis on October 29, 2022, Our Blessed Mother said:
“Dear children, I am your Mother and I have come from Heaven to call you to conversion. Be obedient to my call.
“Difficult times will come and only through the power of prayer can you attain victory. Humanity has turned away from God and is heading towards a great abyss. Turn back quickly! God wants to save you.
“ Do not live far from His grace. Repent sincerely. Repentance is the first step that you must take in seeking holiness. Do not allow the smoke of the Devil to prevent you from seeing the truth. I love you and suffer because of what is happening to you. Be faithful to Jesus. In Him is your true deliverance and salvation. Courage! I will always be by your side.
“This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.” (End of quote.)
I am also sharing what Fr. Livio Gonzaga recently wrote amid threat of war in the world. Fr. Livio is known as the messenger of Medjugorje (in Bosnia-Hercegovina) where the Blessed Mother has been appearing and giving messages since 1981.
Here are excerpts from Fr. Livio:
“Dear friends, in these days when there are marches for peace by so many people of good will, I would like to quote some messages from the Queen of Peace, from whose words we understand that it is in the first place with prayer and fasting that we they can stop wars, however violent they are....
“Our Lady knows that war changes men, makes them beasts, and for this reason she calls us to bear witness to the faith in our life, with forgiveness and prayer. Even in the most brutal situations, such as war or even deportations, there was no lack of figures of light, Christians who stood out for their meek, humble and prayerful attitude. Some examples St. Maximilian Kolbe, Edith Stein. In the time of disasters, of terror, in the time of trial, it is very important that there are bright souls who testify to God's mercy. Our Lady has been here for so long to form souls who are firm and strong in faith, that with their life prove to be his. Satan wants war, because in this way he makes souls ugly, nasty, violent, molding them in the image of his hatred of him. If we want divine protection we must entrust ourselves to God and follow the path that he shows us. Each of our days begins and ends with our consecration to Mary and Jesus. Right from now because we are already in the time of trial. Our Lady needs souls who are light in darkness, peace where there is hatred, compassion where there is cruelty. The messages given during the war are all heartfelt, Our Lady, as Mother, is apprehensive about our behavior, she fears that we will allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by evil.
“ Here is the message of October 25, 1992, the words of which are alarming and warn about the aims of satan: ‘Dear children, I invite you to pray now that Satan is strong and wants to appropriate souls whenever possible. Pray, dear children, and trust me more because I am here with you to help you and to guide you on the new path, towards a new life. Therefore, dear children, listen and live what I tell you, because it will be important for you, when I am no longer with you, to remember my words, of everything I have told you. I invite you to start over to change your life and to decide for conversion, not in words, but with life. Thank you for having responded to my call.’
“This appeal resounds in the words of the messages of this year, 2021, when Our Lady warns us of the strength of Satan who wants to subject as many souls to himself, with his deceptions and his lies. We must have faith in Our Lady, in her help, in her guidance and in her love for her. Our Lady has obtained from God to be with us also for all the time of the ten Secrets, her love for her is so great that she will not abandon us even in the greatest trials. “
