2 motobikes collide, 2 hurt in Zamboanga Sibugay

TWO people were injured when they collided head-on while driving motorcycles in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Police Colonel Eduard Mallo, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified the victims as Stephanie Osias, 23, and Robert Rey Magbanua, 25.

Mallo said the incident happened around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, along the national highway of Timuay Danda village, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

He said both Osias and Magbanua were driving motorcycles and traveling in opposite directions when they collided head-on on the national highway.

Mallo said Osias sustained head injuries while Magbanua was slightly wounded and both were rushed to a private hospital for treatment.

He said that both motorcycles were damaged due to the impact of the collision. (SunStar Zamboanga)
