IN VIEW of the recent illness of one of its members of Board of Directors, the Fiesta Communities Tabun Mabalacat City Homeowners Association, Inc., (FCTMCHAI) elected its new managing officers on October 29, 2022 at the HOA office, Phase 3, Makabayan Avenue, Fiesta Communities, Tabun, Mabalacat City.
Tapped to lead and conduct the election in accordance with the Association's By-laws is its Comelec composed of Bernadette Mendoza and Jovie Arellano with Jovelyn Salazar at Chairperson.
Its current President Dennis J. dela Cruz opened the activity by explaining the election is necessary in view of the illness (a mild stroke) suffered by BOD VP Joey L. Feliciano.
Nevertheless, in view of the suggestion of the other directors, a reshuffle of its Managing Officers was done instead.
Elected President was Dennis J. dela Cruz; Vice President-Mar G. Montemayor; Secretary-Cristy Caudilla; Treasurer-Jennifer O. Agrano and Auditor-Rodolfo D. Monis, Jr.
The list of the new managing officers will be forwarded to the regional office of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development and, possibly a General Information sheet.

There seems to be no basic respect for lawmakers (and other government officials) in the United States as an intruder, one David Depape, broke into the residential home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and husband Paul who was attacked with a hammer and had to be hospitalized.
The speaker, Nancy, was the target of the insurrectionists who vandalized the Capitol in a raucous riot on January6, 2022, which is now the subject of an investigation and hearing by a Select Committee composed of bi-partisan lawmakers.
The security of the homes of lawmakers seems to be relaxed in contrast to their counterparts in the Philippines who are heavily guarded complete with arsenals of high-powered guns and ammunitions.
Now, there is a move to review the law protecting the lawmakers in the US. I say this must be passed and implemented as soon as possible in order to protect the representatives of the people. There is no other laudable way, indeed.
