THE BALLAD King has returned with a new album, seven months after being discharged from his mandatory military service.

Chen of EXO's "Last Scene" has six vibrant songs that demonstrate his strong vocal talent and heartfelt melodies.

This will be his third solo mini-album, and it has already achieved a significant feat by appearing in 31 different regions of the iTunes Top Albums charts.

The singer claims that the mood of his most recent album, which evokes warmth and loneliness, complements the autumnal season.

“The lyrics are about the last scene of parting in which everything fades away,” Chen said in a press conference ahead of the release of his album.

The singer's voice range will undoubtedly lead listeners through a delicate and comforting heartache experience.

“When I first listened to this song I felt lonely and empty,” Chen added.

It looks like Chen’s album will be a good release for all the lonely hearts out there.

He may be good at penning heartbreak anthems but Chen has also proven to be a singer that brings comfort to the surface of our emotions. Eager fans have embraced the idol’s return with the hashtag “weareoneEXO” racking over 70,000 tweets worldwide.

Meanwhile, Chen is slated to perform in the Philippines for the 2-day “Be You 2: The World Will Care” event, produced by Neuwave Events and Production.

For the first time, Chen and his EXO member, Xiumin will be performing in Cebu on the event's opening day along with other big Kpop stars such as BoA and TVXQ!.
