NCR’s most wanted nabbed in Zambo Sur; another surrenders

ONE of the most wanted persons in the National Capital Region (NCR) was arrested in a law enforcement operation while another surrendered in Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

Police Colonel Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, identified the arrested wanted persons as Junipher Quiño, 37, a resident of Gatub village, Lakwood municipality.

Marwil Gealon, 35 of Riversie village, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur, voluntarily surrendered to authorities.

Albarico said that Quiño was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 10:05 a.m. Saturday, November 12, at the airport of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

Albarico said Quiño is listed as the top 5 most wanted person in the NCR and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail dated February 14, 2022 issued by the court of Taguig City.

Albarico said that Gealon surrendered around 7:10 a.m. Friday, November 11, in Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

He said that Gealon is listed the top 10 most wanted person in Tambulig and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery with P100,000 recommended bail dated October 25, 2022 issued by the court of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. (SunStar Zamboanga)
