In his homily one Sunday, a priest cited an example of what one could lament about in one’s life: being identified at young age as either being male or female
I had initially thought it was an issue that belonged to the lamentably permissive West. That a priest in the province of Pampanga in this supposedly Catholic country would preach such libertinism came as a shock.
No, I am not puritan at all; as a matter of fact, I am a mere latecomer in trying to really practice the Catholic faith after decades of livid sinning. But mine, alas, is a Church whose moral foundations are divine, for reference in biblical times of confusion. It’s a foundation not only to hold on to, but to spread in these times when credible Catholic mystics are warning of rising errors and spiritually fatal swerve from the teachings of the Church.
Indeed, note this quote from Our Lord Jesus Christ: “Humanity wants a god that will allow it to work and act as it pleases, AND THAT IS NOT ME. You must live in My Will and be soldiers of My Divine Love.”
This quote was from a message of Jesus in His message to stigmatist Luz de Maria de Boilla, a third degree Augustinian, on Nov. 14, 2022. Here’s the entire message:
“My beloved People, I bless you with My Love.
“My beloved children: My love covers all humanity.
“All My children are covered by My Love, and out of love, I allow each one of you to have access to My Love or to reject it according to your free will. That is why some human beings accept My Love and others do not accept My Love; nonetheless, I seek them everywhere so that they would convert to Me.
“Humanity will go so far away from Me that My Church will seem not to recognize Me, accepting acts and works that do not come from My Will.
“Humanity wants a god that will allow it to work and act as it pleases, AND THAT IS NOT ME. You must live in My Will and be soldiers of My Divine Love.
“My People, live in My infinite Mercy by being creatures who fulfill My Will and who love My Most Holy Mother.
“The scales of My justice stand before each individual: I am a just judge.
“My beloved People, this generation will witness a great devastation such as you have not experienced before; I therefore call you again and again to conversion.
“My children cannot continue to be the same ones who judge their brothers and sisters, the same foolish people, the same ones who deliberately continue to be deaf, blind and dumb, working and acting like the Pharisees.
“Pray, My people, pray: communal prayer is necessary. Live in inner prayer according to My way of Working and Acting, keeping your mind on Me and your relationship with Me.
“Pray My People, pray, pray: the great darkness will come, war will come from one moment to the next without your expecting it, like a flash of lightning, and there will be great darkness.
“Pray My People, pray: great confusion is being poured out upon My Mystical Body; maintain your quest for holy living.
“Pray, My People, pray for Chile, Central America and Mexico: they will be shaken.
“Pray, My People, pray for Japan, China and the Middle East, pray for England and the United States: war is looming and disease will come again.
“My beloved People: Those who strive to change and to be better children of Mine will not be disappointed; they will receive their reward. Dear children, I wil not deceive you: I am your God and I will remain with you.
“It is time to be silent and to devote yourselves to living according to My Will.
“I bless you with My Love, I bless you with My Will.” (End of quote.)
Again, I am adding a commentary by Luz de Maria on the above message, as follows:
“Brothers and sisters: Our Lord Jesus Christ insists on our spiritual preparation and conversion in the light of this moment in which we as humanity find ourselves in danger – in danger, as Our Lord tells us, not only because of war, but also because of the natural events that are constantly taking place in one country or another.
“We have been called to become aware of where we are, not only as humanity, but as God’s children who at some point will have to be judged before the Trinitarian Throne.
“We must initiate this conversion here and now, because only God knows the day and hour when we will be called.
“Our Lord reminds us of the great devastation that there will be on Earth; it is not only physical, however, but also concerns the devastation in which humanity in living at this moment. He then tells us that the great darkness will come, when fear will take hold of people, and they will go into darkness if they do not have the light of the Holy Spirit to maintain their trust in Christ. Therefore, brothers and sisters, let us be messengers of peace. Amen.” (End of quote.)
Meanwhile, to better understand how we should live our daily lives especially in this season of Christmas gift-giving, let me share anew another quote from Our Lord Jesus, as quoted by mystic Maria Valtorta (1897-1961) whose writings were endorsed by St. Padre Pio and religiously read by St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Jesus said:
“Be chaste in doing good. Also in giving alms. An exciseman (St. Matthew) knew how to be so before his conversion. And are you not capable? Yes, I am praising you , Matthew, for your chaste weekly offer, which only the Father and I knew was yours and I am quoting you as an example. Also that is a form of chastity, My friends . Do not disclose your goodness as you would not undress a young daughter before a crowd of people. Be virgins in doing good. A good act is virgin when it is free from any connection with thoughts of pride and praise, or from incentives of pride.” (End of quote.)
Meanwhile in Medjugorje where the Blessed Mother has been appearing since 1981, this affirmation of the biblical “signs of the times.” At one time there, the Blessed Mother said:
“Dear children, with motherly love I implore you, love one another. May there be in your hearts, as my Son desired from the very beginning, love for the Heavenly Father and for your neighbour in the first place — above everything of this world.
“My dear children, do you not recognise the signs of the times? Do you not recognise that all of this that is around you, all that is happening, is because there is no love?
“Comprehend that salvation is in true values. Accept the might of the Heavenly Father, love him and honor him. Walk in the footsteps of my Son.
“You, my children, my dear apostles, you are always gathering around me anew, because you are thirsty. You thirst for peace, love and happiness.
“Drink out of my hands. My hands are offering to you my Son who is the spring of clear water. He will bring your faith back to life and purify your hearts, because my Son loves pure hearts and pure hearts love my Son.
“Only pure hearts are humble and have firm faith. I ask for such hearts of you, my children. My Son told me that I am the mother of the entire world.
“ I ask of those of you who accept me as such to help me, with your life, prayer and sacrifice, for all of my children to accept me as a mother—so that I may lead them to the spring of the clear water.
“Thank you. My dear children, as your shepherds offer you the Body of my Son with their blessed hands, always in your hearts give thanks to my Son for the Sacrifice and for the shepherds that he always gives you anew. ”
