DCPO: Bar exams in Davao City, peaceful

THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said the duration of the bar examinations held in the city was generally peaceful, said spokesperson PMaj. Catherine Dela Rey on Monday, November 21.

“Nahimong malinawon ang pag conduct sa bar examinations dinhi sa Davao City... Wala ta nadakpan o nasita kay during sa mga briefing, gituman pud nila ang mg protocols na gihan-ay sa security cluster (The bar examination here in Davao City was peaceful. There was no report of any incident since everyone obeyed the protocols of the security cluster),” Dela Rey said during an interview with the Davao City Disaster Radio.

Dela Rey said the examinees and staff from the Supreme Court coordinated with the security and safety cluster, and education cluster in Davao City.

“Nahimo gyod safe and successful ilang pag exam diri sa dakbayan sa Davao. Successful pud atong implementation sa security na gibutang nato dira (The exams were held successfully and safely in Davao City with the security that we have put in place),” the spokesperson said.

The bar exams were held at Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School Campus on November 9, 13, 16, and 20 wherein a total of 705 examinees attended from various parts of Mindanao.

This year is the second time that the bar examinations were held in multiple sites across the country.

Nationwide, a total of 10,006 examinees took the bar but according to the Supreme Court, 91.77 percent or 9,183 takers completed the exam. ICM
