DA holds Kadiwa on Wheels in City of San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Department of Agriculture for Central Luzon launched Kadiwa ni Ani and Kita on Wheels under the leadership of the Pampanga Provincial Government at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center here the other day.

The event was led by Acting Governor Lilia Pineda along with some local officials of the province of Pampanga, Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), Officer In Charge of the Provincial Agriculturist of Pampanga Jimmy Manliclic and Provincial Agribusiness Coordinator Lilibeth Manliclic.

Kadiwa is a market system that aims to sell basic agricultural products at low prices to help consumers.

It was participated by various Farmers Cooperatives and Associations from Pampanga such as Sta. Ana Agricultural Multi-Purpose Cooperative, San Jose Tabon Farmers Association, Mandasig Farmers Association Inc. and Kaka Farmers Association Inc.

In order to introduce their various products, the province's Young Farmers Challenge Awardees led by 4L Organically Grown Poultry Farm, Super EC, Scoop and Smile Flavored Malunggay Ice Cream, Sakahon, and R&J Eggcellent Duck Farm also participated in the program.

According to Manliclic, Kadiwa is an important program of the department that helps farmers, consumers, and young people entering the agricultural sector.
