Dabawenyo siblings make waves in Thailand

SIBLINGS Marcus and Aluna Labrador made not only their families proud but the country as well after hauling medals in the JRC Artistic Gymnastics Stars Competition held in Bangkok, Thailand last November 20.

Ten-year-old Marcus and Aluna, two of the triplet offspring of Mark and Angel Labrador from Davao City, made the floor their playground as they finished gracefully in their respective events.

Marcus, the lone boy of the triplets, won gold medals in the boy's Parallel Bars, Mushroom, and Vault events on top of snaring bronze medals in Individual All-Around for MAG Level 2, and Rings event.

Aluna, on the other hand, gave her best in the elite level, placing 12th in the Individual All-Around, 7th in Floor, 10th in Bars 10th Beam, and 14th in Vault for WAG Level 4 despite being one of the youngest athletes to grace the grueling events.

Aluna and her teammates from AGP bravely entered as among the youngest athletes on the floor.

The talented gymnast inspiredly competed together with teammates, the famous Yulo siblings (Eldrew and Elaiza Yulo), who put up a remarkable contest against Thailand, Hong Kong, and India’s best. CEA
