MINALIN Residents of this municipality on Thursday received assistance from Senator Christopher “Bong” Go.
Go was in the province for a series of engagements which included the opening of the third Malasakit Center in the province.
He made his first stop here to grace the distribution of cash grants to more than 500 college students.
The students were beneficiaries of the scholarship program of fourth district Representative Anna York Bondoc.
The elderly residents received food packs containing rice, canned goods, instant coffee and noodles from Go.
Three residents also received bicycles, while ten individuals got rubber shoes.
The senator also gave away basketballs as part of his advocacy to encourage youth to stay away from illegal and unhealthy habits and vices.
“Ang adbokasiya ko po ay malasakit sa kapwa kaya hangga’t kaya po ng oras at katawan ko, personal ko po hinahatid ang ganitong mga tulong sa ating mga kababayan kahit saan man sa Pilipinas,” he said.
Bondoc thanked Go for his service to Filipinos, especially Kapampangans.
“Araw-araw na serbisyo at malasakit po ang ginagawa ni Senator Bong Go at maswerte po tayo na hindi rin nya nakakalimutan ang mga Kapampangan, lalo na tayo dito sa fourth district,” she said.
