VICTORIAHANON national athlete Jackie Lou Suarez clinched the bronze medal in the Bowling Women’s Doubles Event at the inaugural South East Asian (SEA) Deaf Games held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 23, 2022.
Teaming up with Maria Lovella Catalan, they bested the other participants and finished the match with 2,028 points.
Suarez is a resident of Barangay III, Victorias City and a member of Victorias Deaf Club.
In a statement, Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez congratulated both Suarez and Catalan.
The mayor also expressed his gratitude to the Victoriahanon athlete for bringing commendable honor to the City.
The ongoing SEA Deaf Games will run until November 27.
