Early morning blaze injures 3 in Bacolod City

THREE were injured when a fire engulfed a residence at Barangay Punta Taytay in Bacolod City past 3 a.m. yesterday, November 27.

Bacolod City deputy Fire Marshal Insp. Jun Michael Manuel identified those who were injured as Rodolfo Ramos, 60, his wife Flordeliza, 59 and their son Pewee, 36.

Manuel said Rodolfo Ramos sustained burns on his left arm and right shoulder while his wife and son suffered burns on the right hand and left arm, respectively.

The Ramoses were given first aid and were later rushed to an undisclosed hospital.

As of yesterday, it is not yet known what triggered the fire although its damage is placed at P1.5 million.

It took almost an hour before the fire fighters were able to put off the blaze that reached the first alarm status.
