DISTANCE and race were never a hindrance to the couple, Dr. Craig Norris and his wife Elizabeth Coloso, a Bacolodnon.
This after the couple tied knot on November 25, at Doña Juliana Subdivision, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.
It was an intimate wedding rite for the couple in celebration of their union as husband and wife with the presence of their family, friends, and godparents.
Pastor Darien Bais officiated the wedding ceremony.
The bride Elizabeth marched down the aisle with her father, retired Lieutenant Fernando Coloso, who is an incumbent Kagawad of the city’s Barangay 17.
“I virtually met Dr. Craig, a nephrologist from Michigan, USA last March 2022 and we had an instant connection, that we decided to meet in person in July in Singapore and Malaysia for 15 days,” the bride said.
It was July 28, this year, when Craig surprised her with an engagement ring during their time in Singapore and thus they decided to get married.
The couple’s principal sponsors were Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, Bacolod City Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya, Cong. Stephen Paduano, Bacolod City Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson and Atty. Benjamin Ortega.
