CLARK FREEPORT At least 106 applicants were hired on the spot during a job fair organized by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) here.
CDC, through its External Affairs Department (EAD) – Corporate Social Responsibility and Placement Division (CSRPD), led the job fair held at Clark Cityfront Mall.
According to the state-owned firm, more than 5,000 job vacancies were offered by 53 companies. A total of 820 applicants flocked to the fair.
“This is the first ever job fair that we did after the pandemic and we take this activity with so much prayer in our hearts that there will be a matching of the available jobs and the available manpower. We know how important it is that we find our place under the sun and find work and employment because this is where we spend most of our waking time,” CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance Engr. Mariza O. Mandocdoc said.
CDC Vice President for Engineering Services Group Jose Miguel Dela Rosa thanked the various companies in Clark that continuously provide opportunities for locals.
Also present during the event are executives from Clark Cityfront Mall headed by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Vice President and Head of Mall Operations Rene Arnobit and Assistant Vice President Michael G. Lao.
CDC Assistant Vice President for EAD Rommel Narciso, CDC Vice President for Security Services Group PMGen. Keith Ernald L. Singian, and CDC Director Paul Christian Cervantes also attended the said event.
