THE City Health Office of Cagayan de Oro has noted a decrease in the number of active cases in the city.

According to data from the City Health Office, Cagayan de Oro now has a total of 83 active cases, in which 45 were admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 37 were outpatients and one was a returning overseas Filipino (ROF).

The City Health Office further reported that the city recorded 12 new cases over the weekend, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 27,733.

Of the 12 local cases, 10 were local index cases, one was an authorized person outside residence (Apor), and one ROF.

The total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro is now at 26,688, while the number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is at 962, with zero recorded Covid-related death over the weekend. (SunStar Philippines)
