THE City Government of Zamboanga is set to conduct road clearing operations starting December 2 to 6, 2022 in downtown areas.
This was discussed by the Task Force Clearing Operations when it convened in the afternoon of Tuesday, November 29, at City Hall’s conference room.
City Administrator Mario Yanga said the road clearing operation is in compliance with the Memorandum Circular No. 2022-085 of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Yanga said the road clearing operation will start on December 2 in Zone 4 village, December 3 in Zone 3, December 5 in Zone 2 and Zone 1 village on December 6.
All the four identified villages are within the downtown area.
Those who attended the meeting of the task force chaired by Yanga were Councilor Vincent Paul Elago, DILG representative and task force members representing the different city departments and offices concerned. (SunStar Zamboanga)
