Batch 1998 pushed their winning streak to five games after defeating Batch 1994, 86-58, in the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) Alumni Inter-Batch Basketball Tournament last Saturday at the USP-F gym.
Wilbert Santiago flirted with a triple-double as he compiled 24 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists to help 1998 nab its fifth win in as many games in Division A.
In the other Division A clash, Batch 1995 outlasted 1997, 56-49. Hilbert Biggas led the way for the winning side with 17 points and eight boards.
In Division B, Batch 2003 kept its hold of the top spot with a 92-84 victory over 2011. Elmer Ratilla had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to help push his team to their fourth win against a lone loss.
Batch 2005 also creamed 2000 by 33 points, 95-62. Vincent Medija dominated the game with 20 points, eight boards, two assists, and two steals.
Batch 2002 nabbed an easy 98-65 win over 2012, thanks to the efforts of Fritz Rosales who narrowly missed out on a triple-double with 18 points, 11 boards, and nine assists.
