AN AMUSEMENT park in Minglanilla has added more attractions in time for the holiday season.
Anjo World Theme Park on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, unveiled Funtastic Arena, the park’s new attraction that features new rides and game activities for guests of all ages, including children. It will have at least 20 new attractions.
“We are looking at the park not only as an outdoor park but also an indoor park,” said Anjo World president Chester Lim. The launching of the Funtastic Arena coincided with the theme park’s anniversary celebration.
Cedric Reyes, Anjo World head of sales, marketing, and press relations, said the Funtastic Arena will have an arcade-type video gaming setting for children and adults, unlimited rides for children, and educational attractions that will spark the senses of small children.
Lim assured ticket prices at Anjo World will remain the same even with the introduction of these new attractions. He said guests will get to enjoy more from the entrance fee that they pay.
Besides the rides and other gaming activities, Lim also announced that they have upgraded their food and beverage menu. Next year, the company plans to introduce the use of e-cards to provide convenience for guests.
Daily operations
With the growing number of guests visiting the park this holiday season, Anjo World is now open daily from 12 noon to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It will also operate on extended hours for the months of December and January.
According to Reyes, they decided to open the theme park daily to address the clamor, especially from non-Cebuano residents who want to enjoy the park rides on whichever day they come for a visit to Cebu.
He added that this is also timely because of the anticipated high foot traffic this Yuletide season.
