The largest pizza company in the world has established its presence in Cebu by opening several branches: Welcome to Cebu, Domino’s Pizza.

The first branch opened in Pacific Mall, Mandaue City. The latest branch opened its doors on Gen. Maxilom Ave., Cebu City. Domino’s Pizza is looking to open its third branch in Filinvest Cyberzone Cebu Tower Two in Lahug, Cebu City.

While it did take quite some time before the brand reached the Queen City of the Philippines, Cebuanos are raring to try out the freshly made pies that Domino’s Pizza is renowned for around the world. According to its website, the brand has extended its global reach to “more than 90 international markets serviced by more than 19,500 stores.”

Peter Khemlani, chief marketing officer for Domino’s Pizza Philippines, expresses his gratitude for the opportunity that Cebu has provided for Domino’s Pizza, which was favorably welcomed right away by Cebuanos.

Here are some reasons why the “world’s favorite pizza” is bound to become Cebu’s next favorite pizza:

Great pizza, deals

The rising prices of food and commodities have locals penny-pinching from their food cravings. It’s a different story when it comes to pizza, though.

Cebuanos are sure to be treated to top-notch, big slices of pizza that doesn’t break the bank. The secret? The brand’s generous holiday specials and opening promos.

Some promos include its “Spin and Win” with prizes such as choco lava cakes, a 15 percent discount, marbled cookie brownie, garlic parmesan bites, and many more.

Christmas promotions include a package feast for up to five people. This includes any of its 10-inch ordinary pizzas, including its limited-edition duo pizza. A 1.5 liter of Coca-Cola, a pasta of your choice, apple crumble, and solo potato wedges are included in this Christmas spread.

Familiar taste

Domino’s Pizza takes pride in serving freshly baked, hand-tossed pizzas with an improved dough-to-toppings ratio, and pillowy-chewy dough base with the right amount of crisp.

It offers a loaded and generous selection of close-to-home toppings that one can pick according to his preferences: Pineapples, spinach, cheese, olives, sausages, ground beef, bacon, mushrooms, onions, and pepperoni.

As Filipinos usually love sweet and tangy combinations with their food, Domino’s Pizza is sure to satisfy the Filipino palate.

Best-selling menu

Domino’s Pizza prides itself in using pure tomato sauce prepared with herbs and red peppers, all properly stored and kept in fresh batches. Pizza lovers have also commended the brand for its 100 percent cheese, made with real mozzarella, that distinctively stands out.

In the Philippines, its best-selling pizzas are the American Bacon Cheeseburger, Extravaganza, Aloha, Memphis BBQ Chicken, and Spinach and Feta. Meanwhile, its famous mix-and-match option is also a crowd-favorite.

With several Domino’s Pizza branches in Metro Cebu, Cebuanos can now get a slice (or two) of that great “American pizza experience.”
