THREE people, one of them in the watchlist, were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City, the police reported Monday, December 5, 2022.
The police identified the suspect who is in the watchlist as Binga Buroh, 39. The other two arrested suspects were Joshua Buldadura, 27, and Warren Van Fernando, 31
Police Major Ramon Aquiatan, Jr., Zamboanga City Police Office’s (ZCPO) Station 9 chief, said Buroh was arrested in an anti-drug operation around 10:26 p.m. Sunday, December 4, at Zone 8 in Cawit village, this city.
Aquiatan said seized from Buroh were some P3,400 worth of suspected shabu, a pack of cigarettes, and P200 marked money.
Police Major Albin Cabayacruz, ZCPO’s Station 5 chief, said Baldadura and Fernando were arrested in a buy-bust operation around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, December 3, in Santa Maria.
Cabayacruz said confiscated from the two suspects were some P3,400 worth of suspected shabu, a coin purse, and P300 marked money.
The arrested suspects were detained while formal charges are set to be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
