Kins of slain anti-drugs cops to get P100-K

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Provincial Peace and Order, and Anti-Drug Abuse Councils will be providing financial assistance to the kins of slain anti-drug cops.

Governor Dennis Pineda said the families of Senior Master Sergeant Sofronio Capitle Jr. and Staff Sergeant Dominador Gacusan will be receiving P100,000 each.

The two police officers were shot dead over the weekend by six individuals after they conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Mabalacat City.

An agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency will also be awarded the same amount of assistance from the councils.

PDEA undercover agent Daniel Discaya was killed in a shootout with a suspected drug personality during a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City in October 2022.

Police ordered a manhunt operation against the at-large suspects in the slay of Capitle and Gacusan.

The Pampanga police have released a photo of Kenneth Flores while the other suspect was only identified through an alias “Pusa”.

Police asked the public to provide information to establish the whereabouts of the two principal suspects in the case.
