CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama welcomes the appointment of Cebuano businessman Terrence Calatrava as the new presidential assistant for the Visayas.

Rama told SunStar Cebu on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, that he has known Calatrava for a long time already and described him as a “good fellow.”
The mayor said he had worked with Calatrava before, especially in organizing the campaign rally of then presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in Cebu City during the 2022 presidential election.
“It is a welcome (development) for all of us. He is a nice fellow. We have been together in organizing the BBM rally,” said Rama.
Rama said there is no scheduled meeting between him and Calatrava as of now. (IRT)
