IF you are eyeing to buy a new car, upgrade your current travel buddy vehicle, or try an innovative yet sustainable car model, Nissan Philippines is here to meet all that.

As showcased in its successful Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour last November 25 to 27 at the SM Lanang Premier, the event puts center stage innovative Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies and highlights the all-new Nissan Livina and All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER.

"Nissan Philippines aims to give customers the best experience, and our vehicles have always pushed the boundaries with excitement in every drive. Through the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour, we’re able to provide customers a new way to experience our products," Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan Philippines President said.

The all-new Nissan Livina is a reliable vehicle for family-oriented households and first-time car buyers looking for everyday excitement and convenience.

Those who attended had the chance to test drive the all-new Livina to experience its features first-hand.

“With the all-new Livina, we believe we will be attracting a different set of customers than its previous model. This will also address their needs and wants in vehicles,” Nissan Philippines general sales manager Rolando Navarro shared.

Navarro added that when the model was introduced to the Philippine market in September this year, the market acceptance was very high and beyond their expectations.

“We are very surprised with the very good market acceptance, we launched this one at the end of September, and now some dealers already have limited stocks at the moment but definitely more supply is coming this December and next year,” he said.

Apart from the all-new Livina, customers also experienced other Nissan Vehicles like the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER, the Nissan Navara, the Nissan Terra, and the Nissan Almera. Customers can learn more about the Nissan Intelligent Mobility features and the recently introduced e-POWER technology through interactive and immersive augmented reality displays.

Through interactive and immersive augmented reality displays, Dabawenyos were able to appreciate more the recently introduced e-POWER technology.

“When you try it for yourself and become enlightened by its features, you’ll realize that the Nissan Kicks e-Power can be the future of the automotive industry in the Philippines. It’s very fuel-efficient, lightweight, comfortable, and makes less noise when driving,” John Cua of Nissan Dealership Davao shared.

He also said that e-power has been in the industry globally but is only relatively new in the Philippines.

Based on Nissan’s website, Nissan Kicks e-POWER “uses a 100% electric motor-driven system, utilizing the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technology perfected in the Nissan LEAF, and adds a gasoline engine to charge the high voltage battery pack when necessary, yielding a more exciting and efficient ride with every drive.”

Cua added that they have sold eight units since the middle of this year and 12 more units will be delivered to the buyers next year.

Navarro underscored that a few months after the country reopened the economy due to the better Covid-19 situation, they noted a very good trend in terms of sales.

“The industry is really growing. In the last six months, the industry has grown 10 to 15 percent compared to the same period last year. We believe this will be an ongoing, continuing trend as the market is opening up. The Philippines automotive industry is on the way up,” he said.

Navarro also mentioned that Nissan Philippines continues to give customers friendly and flexible payment schemes and financing programs that address whatever financing requirement customers will need.

Prior to the Davao leg, the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour also held successful stops in Cebu, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro.
