NEGROS Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer laughs off when asked for reaction on reports that former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will run against Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson in the coming year 2025 mid-term elections.

"I don't know and I don't mind that,” Ferrer said, saying that we had just finished the presidential elections and yet there are already rumors as to who will run in the mid-term polls.

He said that it will only become true if somebody files their Certificate of Candidacy.

The speculations that former PGMA will run for Governor came out after her visit at the fifth district last month along with Former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo for the donation of some computers and medical equipment at Ignacio Arroyo, Sr. District Hospital in Isabela.
